I was asked earlier about what I see down here that is not the same as it was in NY. first thing that came to mind is that they don't recycle down here and that there is no pop/beer can return and that does take up a lot of space especially if your a heavy pop / beer drinker. On the other side of town is a huge garbage pile/ landfill and everytime I see it I just think of what a poor use of space in these beautiful mountains. People are out planting trees and planting flowers, but what about doing something else that is good for the Earth like RECYCLING... I watched a show on discovery channel about the Pacific garbage patch...







That is so disturbing, you would think of all the money spent on ridulious things some of it should have gone to clean up what has been given to us... Every state should have a mandatory recycling law. I know we did in Ny and one of the hardest things to recycle is tires yet they are recycled and torn to shreds and made for the indoor ground for horse arenas.

I think a mandatory Recycling law would be great you would be surprised how many southern states don't have anything relating to that or anywhere for people to do it. in town they kinda have something like that and they have a truck come out and pick it up , but if you live in the country you c an for get it.
